Katt Williams made headlines last week after he opined on Tiffany Haddish's ability to tell jokes and his now customary dig at Kevin Hart. However, what flew under the radar for most was his quick roast-session of the radio host who conducted the interview, Wanda Smith. Williams went in on Smith about her hair, weight, and culinary acumen.
The jokes didn't blow over too well with Wanda Smith's husband who apparently approached Katt at a comedy club in Norcross, GA on Saturday night. The police report states that Katt and Smith's husband, LaMorris Sellers, got into a verbal exchange regarding his comments during the interview. Katt says he ran to a grocery store next to the comedy club after Sellers pulled out, and pointed his pistol directly at his face.
When authorities arrived on the scene, Sellers admitted to having a gun on his person but denied ever pulling out his gun. Surveillance footage from the store shows Sellers chasing Katt into the store but showed no weapon. The cameras at the comedy club could not be accessed at the time and Katt said he does not intend to press charges.
