Nick Gordon, the former boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, was arrested Saturday in Florida on a domestic violence charge. In 2016 Gordon was found "legally responsible" for the death of Bobbi Kristina in a $36 million wrongful death lawsuit. A judge ruled against Gordon in the civil suit after he didn't show up to two separate hearings.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, Gordon was arrested on one charge of domestic battery. Gordon is scheduled to appear back in court on April 6 after posting a $500 bail.
It's the second time in the past year that Gordon has been charged with domestic violence. The victim in both incidents was Gordon's current girlfriend. She refused to cooperate with police after the last episode. Those charges were subsequently dropped.
Records say that Gordon struck his girlfriend in the face several times while they drove back from a bar. He also allegedly pulled her hair and threatened to crash the vehicle they were in.
Another verbal altercation occurred at the couple's Florida home. At that point, the police were called to the scene. When law enforcement saw marks on the girlfriend's face, they arrested Gordon, even though the girlfriend refused to press charges.
