Chief Keef on the run from the police

A Miami court has issued a warrant for Chief Keef's arrest, after he failed to appear before a judge for an arraignment on DUI and drug possession charges stemming from an arrest last month.

Keef doesn't appear to be taking the law too serious these days. Police described the 21-year-old Chicagoan having bloodshot eyes and dry mouth when they pulled his vehicle over in Miami Beach, after witnessing what they thought to have been a drug transfer with another car. During a sobriety test, he is alleged to have told one of the officers, "It's okay. When you find weed in my urine I'll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card." Days after his arrest Keef fans wound up getting a kick out of seeing his mugshot, which leaked to show the rapper poking his tongue out as the picture was taken.

Following Tuesday's [May 2] missed court date Alki David, a representative for Keef from FOTV Media and Hologram USA, released a statement to several publications that read, "Keef's crack legal team will work this out. In the meantime Hologram USA is prepared to beam him in wherever he needs to go. Boldly, like no man has gone before."
