Bill OReily picks up black women with the term "HOT CHOCOLATE"
Bill O'Reilly was slammed with another accusation of sexual harassment at the workplace on Tuesday, April 18, with a former Black female colleague charging that the long time Fox News host would often make eyes at her, and make comments to her that had sexual connotations attached to them.
“He would look at her cleavage and legs and call her 'hot chocolate.," said attorney Lisa Bloom, who is representing the claimant. She says he would often use the phrase when referring to her, and that he'd even go so far as to make "grunting noises like an animal" when walking past her work area. "Looking good, girl," she says she recalls him saying while ogling her body parts.
O'Reilly's lawyer, Marc E. Kasowitz immediately dispelled the allegations as part of a campaign to defame the President. “It is outrageous that an allegation from an anonymous person about something that purportedly happened almost a decade ago is being treated as fact,” he says. "There is obviously an orchestrated campaign by activists and lawyers to destroy Mr. O’Reilly and enrich themselves through publicity driven donations.”
According to the alleged victim's lawyer though, there are three witnesses who can attest to the sexist behavior having been prevalent around the veteran Fox host. She says she hadn't stepped forward with the allegations before because she didn't want to be fired from the popular news show.
Meanwhile, protesters continued to meet outside of the Fox News headquarters in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday, with calls to fire him from the network. O'Reilly has taken a vacation that he told viewers was nothing more than an annual escape, but many remain skeptical, as a buzz has been growing that he might soon be cut from Fox's network of anchors and analysts. Trump, who himself faced a harassment scandal during his election campaign, has backed O'Reilly through the career threatening news.
