Gilbert Arenas Wins $3M Defamation Lawsuit Against Laura Govan
Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas has been dealing with a major defamation lawsuit he filed against his ex and reality star Laura Govan. In the lawsuit, Arenas stated that Govan told the media that he slept with her sister, and had also gave her multiple STDs. The slander against Arenas was proven to be not true by Govan's own admission, and now, Arenas has taken to Instagram to express how he feels after winning a $3 million award in the lawsuit against the Basketball Wives star.
In a now deleted Instagram post, Arenas said "All my ex had to do was apologize and tell the public she lied about me fathering draya's son, i had sex with her sister in #2002 BUT we met in #2003 and had 4 kids #WTF #SMDH #Retarded and giving her an STD....I guess looking like a #VICTIM to a bunch of hollywood celebs was more important to her. Now she has to pay my lawyer fees and ME in damages around 3 millino #INREALLIFE hahaha.... I would brag all day but when you're 26-0 in court its pointless. #SheMVPOfFakingForTheGram"
Another deleted post from Arenas said "#InRealLife my ex will have to work at #hoochieBurger everyday for 100 years at 12 buck a hour with a 10hr shift to pay that judgment off hahaha." Govan has not responded to any of his posts since then.
