4 Men Accused of Raping 9-Year-Old While Mother Smoked Meth in Garage
Four Utah men have been charged with first degree felony rape of a child and first degree sodomy of a child after allegedly raping a 9-year-old girl. The alleged rape occurred during an Easter gathering while the unattended child’s mother smoked methamphetamine in a nearby garage.
The suspects allegedly raped the young child in a room while unsuspecting party-goers were in the house. The rape was uncovered Easter night when the child confessed to her mother that four men had performed varying sexual acts on her and threatened to kill her if she spoke about the incident. The child has since been placed in the custody of Utah State Child Protection Services.
The suspects ranging in age, from 20 to 36-years-old and have been identified as Jerry Flatlip, Randall Flatlip, Larson RonDeau, and Josiah RonDeau- are said to be related. The child’s grandmother was quoted asking for “hardcore punishment” for the men.
No word on if the child's mother will be charged with a crime in relation to the incident.
