Zimmerman's Twitter Suspended for Posting Ex's Nude Photos
George Zimmerman's Twitter account was suspended after he posted nude photos of an alleged girlfriend, whom he claims cheated on him with a "dirty Muslim." The Twitter account, @TheRealGeorgeZ, showed two different nude photos of a woman named "Heather" who Zimmerman also says stole "a gun and cash" from him.
Zimmerman, who was aquitted in the 2012 fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, listed his current state as Florida, which is one of the 26 states that has revenge porn laws. However, Carrie Goldberg, an Internet privacy and sexual consent attorney told the NY Daily News that the photos don't show what the statute considers to be "nudity"
She added, "Zimmerman's publication of the victim's personal information like her phone number and email address suggest an intention to incite third parties to contact this woman in a sort of harassment-by-proxy scenario. Not only could he be arrested criminally, but this behavior makes a strong case for the victim to obtain an order of protection from family court."
