Woman Pleads Guilty to Giving Fatal Penis Enlargement Injection
Kasia Rivera pled guilty to administering a fatal dose of silicone into a man's penis for an enlargement procedure as an unlicensed cosmetic surgeon. The New Jersey woman accepted a plea deal offered by prosecutors who agreed to drop additional charges related to butt and breast injections she administered while awaiting trial.
Police claim Rivera, 38, administered the silicone injection directly into 22-year-old Justin Street's bloodstream, which immediately shut down his organs. He died one day later, and a medical examiner ruled his death a homicide by silicone embolism.
Prosecutors are recommending a 5-year sentence to Rivera, who admitted she was never trained or licensed to administer silicone injections.
Rivera, a native of Jamaica, is also facing deportation, which will be determined during her sentencing on October 19.
