HIV Positive Man Arrested For Not Disclosing Illness to 7 Women
Jason Alexander Young of Cedartown, Georgia, has just been arrested for having sexual relations with seven women and not revealing his positive HIV status.
According to Lt. Glenn Daniel, the 34-year-old was charged with seven counts of reckless conduct by an HIV-infected person. "He has approached his victims through various social media outlets, and we want to see if there are any other victims out there," Daniel told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Investigators believe there are possibly more victims in the area, especially since he pled guilty to a similar crime in October 2011 in Aiken County, South Carolina. Young served 16 months in prison after being charged with two counts of intentional exposure to HIV and was released in March 2013. Authorities are urging anyone who has been sexually involved with Jason to step forward.
Young is currently being held without bond.
