60-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR IMPREGNATING 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL
Florida resident Walter Johnson, 60, was arrested in Jacksonville for impregnating a 12-year-old girl. According to multiple reports, Johnson took the girl to a medical center on New Year's Eve, and ran off when the pregnancy test came back positive.
After leaving the facility, Johnson called 911 and threatened to commit suicide. He was later arrested, charged with three counts of sexual battery of a victim between ages 12 and 18, and his bail was set at $1.5 million.
Relatives of the victim say that Johnson was a family friend for 40 years, and reveal that they will raise the child in their home.
