Ron Artsest Metta World Peace trying to get at newly single Nikki Minaj name
Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace aka The Panda's Friend, is now adding another name change to that list, after he was recently inspired by none other than the queen Barbie, Nicki Minaj.
Metta took to Twitter to announce that he would be changing his name to "Metta Minaj" for two days thanks to a Nicki Minaj song which influenced him to make the change. While he wasn't able to legally change his name for the short period of time, he did have fans refer to him as Metta Minaj on Twitter, and even influenced some other men to change their Twitter names as well. He has since changed his name back to good old fashioned "World Peace," but Metta's many fans got a true kick out of him actually going by the name of Metta Minaj for 48 hours.
