Not everybody you meet on Facebook is your friend.
These guys truly ain’t isht!
Three convicted felons were arrested in connection with a string of violent rape attacks in South Florida, including a gunpoint robbery and sexual assault of a woman they lured to a vacant home early Friday by texting her, police said.
Miramar police charged locals Britton Blackwood, 19, Frankie Lee Gatlin Jr., 20, and Kinshon Johnekins, 19, with sexual battery, armed robbery and assault on Saturday after surveillance video and DNA evidence tied them to at least four rapes, The Sun-Sentinel reported.
The men are being held without bail at Broward Main Jail.
“Basically, they robbed, raped and terrorized women,” Miramar police spokesperson Tania Rues told WSVN, who said that investigators believe there are other victims who have yet to come forward.
The latest attack took place in a residential neighborhood at 1 a.m. Friday after the women exchanged texts and agreed to meet at a vacant home. Police said two women were attacked and one was raped. One victim recognized the assailant “from the club scene.”
In another incident, a woman who left Club 7 in Miramar on Oct. 26 was threatened while sitting in her car at a nearby KFC. The attackers showed off weapons, then raped and threatened to kill her if she told anyone, police allege.
Two Port Charlotte, Fla., women who met the men online drove to the Fort Lauderdale area on Sept. 24, where they were held at gunpoint and raped, police said.
“Both women were held at gunpoint,” Rues told CBS Miami. “Both women were raped by both of these individuals. Their personal belongings were also stolen.”
It’s a rap sheet Miramar police believe will continue to grow as more victims report incidents.
