Florida Man Arrested For Exposing His Genitals To Kids

It wasn’t one man’s costume that gave some trick-or-treaters a scare on Halloween, but rather, his lack of clothing all together, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
42-year-old Frank Rosado, of Vero Beach, was arrested on Halloween after a mother of two kids, 6- and 8-years-old, told authorities he opened the door fully nude.
Authorites say he opened the door, said “no candy here,” then closed the door.
He posted a $1,000 bond on two counts of exposure of sexual organs.
“It kind of shocks me because those are very quiet people,” said neighbor Christa Williams.
Deputies arrived to find the blinds closed and the lights off, according to an arrest affidavit. Deputies say they could see Rosado walking around inside though he wouldn’t initially come to the door.
Deputies say he eventually came outside, claimed he was sleeping, and was arrested.
Neighbors say they saw him being arrested in his socks and boxers.
A resident at the home said that Rosado doesn’t live there and was only a temporary visitor.
However, the resident says all of this is a mistake and that he was wearing boxers when he answered the door. That resident says they were not home, however, during the incident.
Neighbors say the area doesn’t draw a lot of trick-or-treaters, but say they recall seeing the porch light on at the house.
“I’m glad [my grandchildren] didn’t go over there,” said Williams. “I think they would have come back screaming.”
The sheriff’s office does not believe any other kids were exposed to Rosado’s alleged nudity.
Authorities say the kids were “ashamed” but in overall good spirits after the incident.
