Beyonce is being sued for unspecified damages by two fans
Beyonce, Live Nation Entertainment, and The United Center are being sued for unspecified damages by two fans who were allegedly trampled at a December 13th, 2013, Beyonce concert held in Chicago Illinois. The plaintiffs, Raquel Castellanos and Gabriella Davidson filed a lawsuit against the three parties after sustaining injuries which required them to be taken to the hospital by the Chicago Fire Department.
They allege that they were waiting in a section to be let into the area closest to the stage, when suddenly the gates were opened without warning and without any security supervision to monitor the large crowd of screaming Beyonce fans. When the crowd pushed forward and began running to get to their desired position in order to witness Beyonce bring magic to the stage, they were allegedly knocked down and trampled by many individuals. Two women believed to also be attending the concert stopped to help them up.
The lawsuit alleges that Beyonce, The United Center, and Live Nation are responsible for neglegence and therefore their injuries. Reps for the three parties could not be reached for comment.
