Twitter Rips Macklemore for "Best Hip-Hop Album" AMA Win

In light of their success at the American Music Awards, Twitter has found reasons to throw shade at Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.  The pair locked down a huge victory last night, Sunday, November 23rd, as they were awarded with Best Rap/Hip-Hop album at the AMAs.
During Macklemore's acceptance speech, he quoted Dr. Martin Luther King and also honored Trayvon Martin since the award show took place in Florida.
"Due to the fact that we are in Florida tonight accepting this award I want to acknowledge Trayvon Martin and the hundreds and hundreds of kids each year that are dying due to racial profiling and the violence that follows it.  This is really happening. These are our friends, our neighbors, our peers and our fans, and it's time that we look out for the youth and fight against racism and the laws that protect it."
Even though this is a huge achievement for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Twitter isn't pleased with the fact that they won over the likes of Jay Z and Kendrick Lamar.  The slander may go along with lord Jamar's statements about white rappers being "guests in hip-hop."
