Article Image: Kim K's Former Bodyguard Wouldn't Be Surprised if Jewelry Heist Was PR StuntRecently, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint for millions of dollars in jewelry while gagged and bound in her Paris hotel room. According to reports, the robbers fled the scene with a jewelry box after having had Kardashian at gunpoint. The assailants fled on bicycles. Since the robbery, many have speculated that the event was set up as a publicity stunt, including a former bodyguard for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian named Steve Stanulis. The bodyguard spoke to the NY Daily News to give his thoughts on the robbery and how it may have been staged, saying, "It wouldn't surprise me. If it is true, someone should tell Kim not to go on Snapchat telling everyone where you're going and what you're going to wear. If this really did happen, she opened herself up to it.”

There was much speculation that the robbers were cops in some form. Stanulis left his position of bodyguard from the Kardashian-West clan last year also said, "And again, if it is true (that she was robbed), and she'd had trained security on staff, it would have taken two seconds to debunk the story that the robbers were cops." Since the robbery, Kardashian has stepped up her security detail, mirroring that of the president.
