Michigan Man Robs Bank to Pay For Daughter's Chemo Treatments

Michigan Man Robs Bank to Pay For Daughter's Chemo TreatmentsWhen a child is in danger, a real parent will take the "by any means necessary" approach in order to assure the safety of their child. Take Brian Randolph for example, a real-life John Q who took matters into his own hands for his cancer-ridden daughter.

The 23-year-old's daughter, Brialynn, has retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer.  His family claims he became desperate to pay for the one-year-old's upcoming chemotherapy treatment now that his insurance company no longer covers it. "Time was ticking right before her appointment came up," says Brian's girlfriend and Brialynn's mother, Asia Dupree.

On August 12, Randolph walked into Vibe Credit Union in South Lyon, Michigan and passed one of the tellers a note demanding money. He also wrote that he had a concealed weapon, though he revealed to police he never actually had a gun on him.
