Taye Diggs 'I Like Wearing Nail Polish'

Taye Diggs is about to make a stylish return to the Great White Way. 

The actor and Broadway alum will take over the titular role in the smash revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at Diggs glammed up in glittery makeup as the character. 

"Hedwig is the role of a lifetime. I'm looking forward to being challenged performance-wise on many levels, as well as being humbled by the musical's social implications," Diggs says in the new issue of PEOPLE, adding: "I also like wearing nail polish."
