GTA 5 beta code scandal?

More complaints filed against ‘GTA 5’ unofficial multiplayer beta websites

Take-Two Interactive has filed more complaints in regards to the unofficial multiplayer websites for their upcoming multiplatform video game, “GTA 5.” According to a report by Fusible on March 17, the World Intellectual Property Organization has been notified about the gta5betacode.com and grandtheftauto5beta.com fake domains.

Although “GTA 5” will feature online multiplayer, Take-Two Interactive has not yet revealed any details, including the possibility of a multiplayer beta, on that particular mode. Therefore, gamers should avoid any website that claims to be currently offering beta codes

Take-Two Interactive is the parent company of Rockstar Games and Rockstar North, the two subsidiaries responsible for the development and publishing aspects of “GTA 5.” The open-world action-adventure video game is slated to come out for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in North America on Sept. 17.
